Tachyon particles are hypothetical sub-atomic particles which can't be found easily because they travel faster than speed of light and till now tachyon only exists in theory, we have not found them in real life

In 1962 tachyon particles was known as meta particles and later Scientist's Gerald Feinberg also come with the same idea "Possiblity of Faster Than Light Particles" this is name of papers which includes theory and research of Gerald Feinberg and tachyon name was also given by Gerald Feinberg to this particles.

Let's know how scientists got the Idea of tachyon particles, as we know speed of light is the highest speed in this universe as per theory of relativity but this not the whole truth. If any object who's speed is less than speed of light then that object speed will be always less than the speed of light and if a object who's speed is more than light then his speed will be always more than light.

If any object who's speed is less than light and suddenly after sometime that object speed increase than the speed of light then the rules of theory of relativity is break. Till now we have not found any particles which are breaking the rules of theory of relativity
