Command Center or Commanding Office plays an important role in the field of space. Many space related operations are taken place in commanding office as like one of ISRO Commanding Office also known as (ISTRAC) ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network. It is located in Bengaluru, India and has the major responsibility to provide tracking support for all the satellite and launch vehicle missions of ISRO.

History -

After six years of foundation of ISRO, Thumba a place located in Kerala was chosen by ISRO experts because it lies on the equator. The main problem was that the place was surrounded by native fisherman and a church, Bishop house and lastly a school. ISRO found difficulty in setting their Launching Station in Thumba, so ISRO reach to Indian Government but Government denied to help ISRO because Government cannot destroy many homes and religious monasteries, so ISRO founder Vikram Sarabhai and Abdul Kalam reach to Thumba talk to the Bishop of the church who look out those place where they want to setup launching station. In starting conversation with Bishop make Vikram Sarabhai and Abdul Kalam sad but Bishop called both of them on Sunday morning. On Sunday Morning Bishop and both Scientists Gather around the whole villagers of that place and Bishop asked the villagers that they can give up there land for these two great scientists who want setup there launching pad by losing there homes and church but Bishop also make villagers understand how science is helping our daily life and making us modern after some conversation with villagers, they all agreed to give up there land and this how Thumba Equatorial Rocket Launching Station was constructed.
